Growth Groups
Growth Groups at Bergen Park Church are focused on Christ-centered, Bible-focused transformational growth in community.
The Christian life is not something we can live on our own. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, we think it’s important to travel the road with others. Whether you are new to the faith or have been a long-time follower of Jesus, our vision is that you will connect with others, learn from the Bible, and serve alongside each other for the good of the community.
Bergen Park Church offers a number of different Growth Group options to encourage you on your spiritual journey. Most of our Growth Groups consist of 8-12 members and meet weekly or bi-weekly. Some of our Growth Groups meet in homes, while others at the church building or at various locations around our community.
Although the makeup and atmosphere of the groups will vary, there are common elements we emphasize:
- The study of Scripture
- Prayer
- Mutual encouragement in faith
- The development of trusting and supportive relationships.
To get involved, email Jonah Haddad at Jonah@bergenparkchurch.org
Men's Ministry
The role of our Men’s Ministry at Bergen Park Church is to serve as a complementary ministry of the church—an opportunity for our men of all ages and stages of faith to become more effective leaders, fathers, husbands, friends and servants of our Lord Jesus Christ. Within this structure we attempt to balance fellowship, teaching, service and outdoor activities—and of course, these are always complemented by a substantial meal!
Men’s Ministry at Bergen Park Church is typically ‘event’ driven. Some examples include:
- Fellowship Breakfasts and Service Days—A ‘gourmet’ breakfast followed by our men helping those in our local community with minor carpentry, painting, cleaning, etc.
- Cooking/Bar-B-Queing for church wide events
- Dad and kid’s Fall Fishing Day

Prayer Teams
At BPC our heart is to see lives changed, healings and miracles through partnering with God and the power of prayer.
At the most basic level, prayer is a conversation with God. As a prayer team, we are moving from a one-way conversation to listening and hearing the voice of God in prayer. In this pattern, we desire to achieve a deeper relationship in our personal walk with God.
Too often prayer is a pillar of the church that is talked about but not practiced. We believe firmly in the power of prayer and pray to see God move in the lives of people at BPC.
Join us on the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm for a time of vibrant worship and focused prayer for the needs of the church and others. As part of the Prayer Team Ministry at BPC we also pray for individual needs submitted to BPC through Prayer Request Cards.
Contact Steve Smith at steve-joan@superseer.com 303-919-9063 or Joan Smith at joan@superseer.com 303-514-1122 for more information or for prayer.
Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study
Consider joining us on Sunday mornings for our Adult Bible Study. Our approach is to lead a group discussion-based study, highlighting ‘life application lessons’ as we review chapter by chapter the books of the Old and New Testaments. Recent studies include the Gospel of Luke, Acts, 1st and 2nd Corinthians, Daniel, and Proverbs. We will be completing our study of the Book of Genesis during the 3rd quarter of this year before returning to the New Testament.
- Meeting Time: 8:00 – 9:00 AM Sunday Mornings
- Location – Meeting both in Classroom 108 and via Zoom for those that can’t make it in person.
For more information, email the Adult Sunday School Teacher.

Women’s Ministry
Women’s Ministry at Bergen Park Church is a community of women who would like to connect with others for social gatherings, spiritual growth, and outreach opportunities.
Our heart is for every woman at Bergen Park Church to feel connected and a part of what God is doing here.
True spiritual growth happens when we dig into the Bible ourselves on a personal level. Women’s Ministry Bible Studies at Bergen Park Church are a safe place to learn, discuss, and process biblical teaching in the company of other women who are journeying in their faith.
Activities Include:
- Fall and spring Bible study sessions (6-12 week)
- Christian community (currently in-person and Zoom options available)
- Consistent small groups where you can get to know other women and pray for each other’s needs
We hope to resume social gatherings, occasional speakers, and retreats by this fall.
If you would like to get involved in any way: attend, help lead a small group or social activity, or just have questions, please contact Beth Lepard at Beth@bergenparkchurch.org
Youth and Family
The Bergen Park student ministry exists to see teenagers and their families know Christ and together become passionate followers of Him. We hope to provide safe and welcoming environments in which teenagers feel valued, are encouraged, and can grow in their own relationships with the Lord. At the same time, we want to partner with their parents and provide them resources and opportunities to grow closer as a family in the Lord. Click here to learn more about our values.
Our main student ministry gathering is called “Elevate” and meets on Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00PM. Led by our team of adult volunteers, Elevate includes games, a Bible-based message, small groups, worship music, and snacks. Elevate is for all 6th-12th graders who want to learn about following Jesus.
In addition to Elevate, we also do fun outings, service projects, retreats, and short-term missions trips!
Contact Wendy, at wendy@bergenparkchurch.org for more information, or to get involved! We’d love to meet you!
