SCHEDULE:

Similar to the BOLT schedule in years’ past, each evening will include an opening Bible lesson, fun games, learning life skills, and small group time.  Our tentative schedule for this year is:

5:30-5:50pm Bible Lesson 

5:50-6:10pm Games (Boys), Life Skills (Girls)

6:10-6:30pm Games (Girls), Life Skills (Boys)

6:30-7:00pm Small Group Time

Game time may be outside (weather permitting) so please send your child with appropriate clothing/footwear. Children will not be able to participate if they have open toes/heels.

CHECK-IN/OUT

When dropping your child off, you may let them out at the front doors and they can sign themselves in for the evening.  An adult is required to sign your child out each evening.  For security reasons, the pick-up person must be listed on your authorized list and must be prepared to show their driver’s license.  In the event that something changes in your schedule, you can always reach out to Lauren via the number provided in your registration document.  All children and youth volunteers must be picked up at 7:00pm.

CURRICULUM:

The new DELTA curriculum is a sister-program to our previous BOLT club.  Created by Pioneer Clubs, this program continues to have a focus on scripture learning and necessary life skills.  We feel that this dual approach makes for a fun evening for kids, while keeping our focus on the hero of the story– Jesus.   DELTA is an acronym for: 

D: Disciples

E: equipped for

L: life

T: transformation and 

A: action

At the beginning of the year, each child will be given a book that includes all of the Bible lessons and life skills for the year.  Most units are four weeks long, after which, children will receive award stickers and pins.  We would love for you to attend the award nights, so look for more information for those events in your weekly email from Lauren.
